AVT Australia is proud to announce the launch of the CM102-MR, an electro-optical (EO) and infrared (IR) gyro-stabilised imaging system built for maritime and ground-based environments.
As a marine-ruggedised variant of the original CM102 imaging system, the CM102-MR comes with all the best features of the CM102 in an IP67-rated, ruggedised package. The CM102-MR is capable of deployments at sea with minimal maintenance, allowing for extended operations without risking damage or reduced image quality.
Deployed with AVT Australia’s high-performance gyro-stabilisation technology, refined through years of development for airborne systems, the CM102-MR’s stabilisation unlocks long-range surveillance even in rough sea states.
Weighing less than 2.5kg, the CM102-MR enables deployment on small uncrewed marine and ground-based platforms, providing class leading surveillance capability to the uncrewed market.
Like with all AVT Australia imaging systems, the CM102-MR is equipped with advanced onboard features such as Object Detection and Recognition and fully integrated video processing and encoding.
“Uncrewed platforms across all domains are being adopted at an ever increasingly rapid rate. USVs are being deployed into missions previously thought not possible. These platforms require payloads that can withstand the harshest conditions whilst providing the war fighter with a reliable and advanced capability,” said Evert van Schuppen, Managing Director of AVT Australia. “The CM102-MR has been explicitly designed to support the war fighter in these conditions.”
AVT Australia is a leading supplier of lightweight, gyro-stabilised imaging systems for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and target acquisition operations.
