AVT Australia Named Finalist for AAUS Industry Champion Innovation Awards

February 28, 2020, Melbourne, Australia…. The Australian Association of Unmanned Systems (AAUS) recently announced AVT Australia as a finalist for the AAUS Industry Champion Awards 2020. Shortlisted for the AAUS Innovation Award, the Micro Gimbal is a next-generation miniature gyro-stabilised imaging system, designed to transform airborne intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) operations.

The Micro Gimbal (CM62) is the first airborne payload of its kind, combining superior imaging capabilities and a range of smart features in a sub 260g system. Designed for integration into small unmanned aerial system (UAS), the Micro Gimbal is AVT Australia’s smallest and lightest gimbal yet.
